I’m drawn to the quiet, fleeting moments that often become the memories we hold onto forever, sunlight on skin, music drifting through an open home, wind tangled hair after a beach day, the sound of someone you love laughing beside you.
Raised on Martha's Vineyard I'm deeply influenced by the ocean, light, and human connection, they inspire everything I create. I’m a mother to a wild-hearted 11 year old daughter named Tanzin, she’s taught me how meaningful (and fleeting) the ordinary moments really are.
My work is rooted in emotion, honesty, and connection, creating photographs that feel less like poses and more like memories you can return to for years to come.

Greer Rivera is THE photographer you want for your family photos! She is a joy to work with and has a natural talent for capturing sweet moments. We have worked with Greer twice now; last year for an in-home session when my son was 3-months old and recently at Land's End for an outdoor family shoot. Greer is a dream to work with; she is genuine, flexible and wonderful with kids. She is a true professional; timely and organized. She arrived early to our outdoor shoot and scouted out spots that would be best for the light. I love looking back on our photos from Greer and feel so thankful we have them to remember those early months with our son. I am sure we will continue to work with Greer for our family photos year after year.
Greer was so friendly and warm my toddler actually had a great time! I loved how she helped guide us into poses and had us shoot in multiple locations. This was our first real family photoshoot and we were pretty clueless how to pose. She also really knew how to get our toddler’s attention and get her to smile. I couldn’t believe how happy our child looked for a full half hour! Our finished photos arrived to our inboxes really promptly after the shoot and I was SO incredibly thrilled at the results. We looked so good in so many shots! It was hard to pick just one for our holiday card. She was even able to get some great shots of our dog with us. Definitely looking forward to working with her again.

What are your family sessions like?
Perfect! Some of my favorite photographs happen when kids are exploring, chasing waves, collecting shells, or laughing with their parents. I embrace their energy instead of fighting it, creating images that feel joyful, authentic, and uniquely your family.
What if my kids just want to run around?
I believe the best family photos aren't perfectly posed they're filled with personality. My goal is to capture the way your children laugh, the way they hold your hand, the way your family loves each other right now. Years from now, I want your images to bring you right back to these fleeting moments.

Yes, but not in the traditional way. I'll guide you into beautiful light and flattering positions, then give you simple prompts that create real connection. Instead of asking everyone to say "cheese," I might have you walk together, whisper something silly, or snuggle up. The result is photos that feel natural, effortless, and full of life.
