Each session includes:
I want your session to feel like an evening spent together on the beach, not like a photo shoot. The best photos happen when everyone is relaxed and simply enjoying each other, so there’s no pressure for perfect smiles or perfectly behaved kids.
We'll walk along the shore, let the kids explore, chase a few waves, laugh a lot, and take things as they come. I'll guide you into beautiful light and help when you need it, but I won't over-pose you or ask you to be someone you're not.
As a mom myself, I know family life is wonderfully imperfect, and those little in-between moments are often the ones you'll treasure most. My job is to notice them, the genuine laughter, the tight hugs, the sandy toes, the windswept hair, and the quiet glances you might not even realize are happening.
When you look back at your photos years from now, I don't just want you to see what everyone looked like. I want you to remember what it felt like to be together on the island.

I've been photographing people professionally for over two decades and have worked with hundreds of families, couples, and individuals. Growing up on Martha's Vineyard has also given me an intimate knowledge of the island's most beautiful locations, the best light, and the little hidden spots that make every session feel unique.
How much experience do you have?
I believe the best photographs come from real experiences, not perfect poses. Instead of asking everyone to look at the camera the entire time, I encourage families to walk, play, cuddle, laugh, and simply enjoy being together while I document those authentic moments as they unfold.
What makes your sessions different?
I'll gently guide you into beautiful light and natural interactions, but you'll never be asked to hold stiff poses or fake smiles. My goal is for your session to feel like a fun evening together, not a photo shoot.
How much posing is involved?
I've been photographing families for over 20 years and have never met a toddler I couldn't make smile. I keep sessions playful and relaxed by turning them into an adventure playing games, exploring the beach, telling silly jokes, and letting kids simply be themselves.
How do you get natural smiles from children?
I photograph immediate families, extended families, maternity, engagement, couples, surprise proposals, senior portraits, and individual portraits. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply making memories together on Martha's Vineyard, I'd love to help tell your story.

Which portrait collection is right for us?
Not at all! Most families tell me they're a little nervous at first, but within a few minutes they're laughing, talking, and completely forget the camera is there. I'll guide you every step of the way, keep things light and playful, and create a relaxed experience where everyone—from toddlers to grandparents—can simply enjoy being together.
